Ok! Axel here, you could find a video of extreme garuda on YouTube but this is a quick run down on how my group fought her. To start off, have the main tank fight her in between the Northwest and northeast pillars. After a short time she will jump and use the gale winds and if you have decent dps she will immediately jump so hide behind the pillars, the first jump she will face north to south. If your dps is OP enough, she skips the second jump, if not then she will jump again and face east to west so be ready.

The next face gets tricky, this is when she summons chirada and suparna. The main tank (who should be facing south) should grab the add to his right (the west add whichever that may be). The off tank will grab the East add. Assign a healer to each tank. The main tank will take garuda and the add to the north (where you normally tank garuda in hard mode) and the off tank takes the add to the south. Dps the add on the off tank first. When the off tank is free again he MUST AGGRO THE REMAINING ADD AND BRING HER AWAY FROM GARUDA otherwise the melee dps will be one shotted.

When both adds are down garuda will use her big attack, if there was good dps on the plumes then you should take minimal damage. This starts the next phase.

She uses the gale winds again so stay in the middle of the map…(continuing in next thread cause my phone is messing up :O)

Lol, those autocrrect errors…anyways

Next phase she spawn a "spiny plume" and many razor plumes. Dps down the razor plumes and ONLY DAMAGE the spiny plume, it will be necessary for your survival. The second garuda teleports away, destroy the spiny plume, it will explode and after the explosion it will create a green bubble. Get inside the bubble to survive garudas next attack.

Next phase and the most difficult. Garuda will summon chirada and suparna again and just like the last phase, the main tank will take garuda and suprana and the off tank will take chirada on opposite ends of the map. The twist here is that she garuda will use whirlwinds on the NORTH, SOUTH, WEST, EAST, and CENTRAL areas of the map so you must move to any of the corners (SE, SW, NE, NW). You will also notice another "spiny plume" do NOT dps this down. Bring down chirada and then get the off tank to aggro suparna and dps her down as well. Here is the other twist, as far as we know, there is a timer on an attack called "super cyclone" that can do up to 4k damage. My group countered it by making sure the healers had everyone topped off at all times. When the whirlwinds disappear it means garuda is about to make the jump again and use her big attack. This is your chance to destroy the spiny plume, avoid its explosion, and get inside its green bubble it spawns to survive garudas attack.

Every phase after this repeats from when you fight garuda in the middle and and keep the spiny plume alive. Up until you down the wench. :D

Added notes:

my group had good dps and gear so the tank kept garuda next to the NW pillar to avoid damage to any other pillars. With enough dps concentrated on protecting only 3 pillars we were able to keep them up with no damage.

Dragon fire dive and a whm holy attack gets the plumes down fast.

For the phase where you have the "spiny plume" designate ONE dps on the spiny to damage it ONLY and keep an eye on it, the 3 other dps should be enough for the rest of the plumes.

Super cyclone is unavoidable and on a timer as far as we know and does MASSIVE damage, so keep everyone topped off OR dps chirada and suparna down fast (could lb if you want but shouldn't be necessary) OR have a super geared group. My group did a mixture of using lb on the first add (chirada) and topping everyone off.

Lastly, ranged dps would be recommended for the final phase with all the whirlwinds and adds but it isn't necessary if dps is good enough. I strongly recommend everyone to have full DL, upgraded relic and some i90 gear. Take note that everything I said about dps mainly applies to melee dps, bards and black mages could do massive damage continuously so I would recommend a team with at least one of each.

Happy hunting :D
